Dog jumps on table to get food

    I don't think it makes dogs feel guilty in general. Maybe if they get in trouble for it and then feel bad, sure. If they're just stealing it and get away with it, then it's not a big deal. And if your dog is trained, they'll ask to go outside instead of leaving unpleasant 'surprises'. I agree that you should keep food up and away in general, but I don't think those are the reasons for it.

    The hesitation reminded me of Neko... Who knows how many jumps she's missed.
    I really thought the dog was going to miss or give up.
