Have you ever sent a dog to boarding school? Or put them through doggy day camp training?

Was it worth the money to have someone else train your dog?

I've never put my Homer through doggy day camp training but I'm starting to think that I should. He is too naughty and he is great at manipulating me so I always do whatever he wants me to do:p . He needs a trainer with strong will:p .

I just came across this thread and I would never want to put my dog in boot camp unless it was for rehab that I and my other dogs cannot provide for him/her.

If it's just for dog training, I'd rather do it at home since it's a lot cheaper and more convenient. And it's also great that my family helps in training them. Yesterday, Chooey learned the "Leave It" trick from my sister.
