I have always, always wanted horses, ever since I was a little girl. As a kid, I drew horses, read about horses, played with toy horses, and dreamed of having horses constantly. As an adult, I'm not as horse-crazy, but I would still love to own at least one. I don't know if it will ever happen, but I will still keep dreaming. How about you?

P.S. I've been entertaining the idea of wanting to run an alpaca farm too. They are so darn cute!

Is this the alpaca you are talking about?

Looks like a woolly camel to me.

I dream of having a big black or golden brown wolf and a midnight black panther or jaguar. I also dream of having a black stallion. I also dream of owning a twin tiger. Those are my fantasies up to this time. :p

Are you thinking of something like this?

If you are really interested I can tell you where to get one of your own.

I already have a dog and a cat and that is enough for me for house pets. ;)
If I would have a farm, I like to own some horses, cows and goats. :p

Well, over time I've had cats, dogs, rats, and guinea pigs. I really would like to have a ferret some day, but I hear they are really smelly. I also want a bunny. I think that's probably what I'll work on next after my guinea pigs pass, but that will be quite a few years away, so I don't really have to worry about that yet.

I really wanted sugar gliders when I was in high school.

I did all my research, though, and realized it wouldn't be fair. They take a lot of care, prefer to be in pairs, live a long time, etc. I would be heading off to college in a few years and then who knew what, so it wouldn't have been the right time to take on that kind of commitment for them to have a happy life.

Isn’t this a saber tooth tiger? Do you create the animals in this jungle?

Yes! A few years ago, I used to see commercials promoting owning an alpaca farm. I thought, what a perfect idea for me. They're adorable, LOL. And I could have the horse I've always dreamed of in the same place. I doubt it will happen - I just don't see buying farmland in the near future.

My husband won't let me have ferrets because he says they smell so badly (even descented ones). But I love to watch them - they have them at the store I buy my dogs' food, and I love it when they're active and playing. I could watch them play forever. I had a rabbit once, and honestly won't have another. They poop A LOT, and are too nervous for my taste (maybe it's just the one I had, though). They are litter-box trainable, though. I'll also never have another bird. We had a parrot when I was a kid, and he was so messy. One pet I would highly recommend is a rat - no kidding. They really make wonderful pets, and are really intelligent (I had one that would come when her name was called!) Unfortunately, they are prone to tumors and don't typically live very long. But overall, rats are the best small-animal pets I've ever owned.

Rats as pets? This really puzzles me. What kind of rats? Something like this?

Oh my, I've never seen a rat that big, LOL. But yeah, that's the general look. I went to school with a guy whose pet rat was huge (albeit not THAT big), and he was very tame and gentle.

I've always wanted a monkey, or like a chimpanzee. Because it seems like a cross between a kid and a dog. lol.

Haha I dont think I can ever think of steven tyler the same way again! And I'm posting this as I'm watching American Idol and there he is on my screen. But no, I would be looking for a smaller, cuter monkey. Like marcel from friends.

Definitely not a rat! It looks like an albino baby kangaroo.

yeah that doesn't look like a rat at all. What's with the short arms? The tail looks like a rat but that's about it.

According to the website where I got that picture, it's an Albino Wallaby. Not really sure about the exact size, though. Here's another one with a baby:
