Since we will be out bowling most of the evening we will probably eat out. Our bowling team consist of myself, my husband, our ten year old son and our nine year old grand daughter so, we all take turns picking a place to eat every weekend. I'm not sure what I'm having today Cassie, my grand daughter, hasn't decided yet where she wants to eat. LOL

We usually have rice meals for dinner. ;)
What variates was the dish and we usually have chicken or fish dishes for dinner. Just nor sure what specific dish for tonight. [IMG]

It is 2 days before my retirement check arrives and the cupboards are bare, just about...so I am having a Pasta/Soup mixture. I live in AZ and our orange and grapefruit trees have been just about picked bare, but hoping to have some citrus for dessert!

Let's see Saturday we ate at a truck stop where I had the worst brisket dinner I have ever had! Then tonight I ate a chicken sandwich at McDonald's. Tomorrow since it is cold and snowing I'm making chilli.

Tonight we had spaghetti and meatballs. Yummy. I also ate a ton of chocolate and candy since it is Valentines day. That was not such a great idea! Oh well, I feel better now.

I made chicken and mushrooms in a cream sauce and served it over whole wheat egg noodles. I just made it up as I was cooking and it came out delicious!

I had quite a few leftovers in the fridge so we had leftovers! Everyone just picked what they wanted from the fridge and I heated it up.

I had a grilled chicken salad and a can of fruit on the side. I am trying to diet, and it has been so very hard!

Just went out for dinner last night with my son. Haven't been out for days. We had fried instant noodles with lamb. Quite a unique combination. My son's idea.

We kept it simple tonight. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and grilled hot dogs. I did, however, make homemade slaw and chili. It was so good! I guess now I need to think about what we are going to have for supper tomorrow :)!

Mine would be tuna flakes in oil - hot & spicy, and two cups of rice (when the viand is hot & spicy you tend to eat a lot), hot cocoa for a drink (it’s still cold & raining non-stop. “Oh, summer, summer, wherefore art thou?”) And finally I would eat banana dipped on melted chocolate. :D

Going to try out a new recipe tonight. I am going to try to make chicken curry with a tablespoon of oatmeal as a thickener instead of coconut milk. No idea how it would turn out.

It turned out fine. The curry tasted like curry. There was no taste of oatmeal at all. Maybe this would be a good alternative to coconut milk. I am going to try adding some oatmeal into Stone Soup the next time I cook some.

Tonight we're slow cooking a beef brisket on the grill. My daughter, her husband, and their five kids are coming over for dinner.

Today's Sunday which is my son's day off. Right now he's still in bed. It's his sleep-in day. So tonight we may go out for dinner. Looking forward to some vegetarian food.

We had a ham steak, fried potatoes and mixed veggies! My husband was very surprised because it was one of his favorite meals.

It's Good Friday in here and I'm actually fasting. I'll just have bread and chocolate milk drink for dinner. :D
