Most people tend to be pretty adamant with their thoughts on choker collars.

On one side of the fence, when done in moderation and used as a training tool, they can be very effective. On the other side, some people see them as cruel or have witnessed people who use them for -everything- or as constant punishment and torture instead of a tool.

    So where do you stand?

We have not used choker collars to punish a dog. We put collars before so that if we will take him out with chain. But now that it was not safe to walk our dog out due to lots of stray dogs, our dog do not wear any collar which we think is more comfortable for him.
