This is great. One of my dogs loves to play in the sprinklers, too, which makes for quite a fun summer. That dog really is smiling.

This reminds me a scene in Gremlins where they all transform into something when water hits them... or was it when they eat food after 12 in the evening.

I'm not sure whether it's in protest about something or he's just simply having so much fun with the water.;)

He sort of looks agitated. But I'm pretty sure he's happy!

That's the happiest dog in the world? I've seen happier pictures of dogs even on this website. But then again if its really hot outside as the picture indicates I'm sure the dog is very happy to have some relief from the heat. Especially since he is a dog with black fur, these type of dogs suffer greatly in the heat.

Nice photo. I know how much dogs love sprinklers and hoses. They can play for hours. Time for a bath Fido and then it all changes.

I'm very lucky that my two aren't bothered about water, so they'll sit nicely in a bath and let me scrub them down. We treat it like a massage and give them treats as a reward for sitting so nicely. In summer they spend a lot of time jumping about in the river, so they're just as happy playing in a sprinkler or the stream of a hosepipe.
