My son has a Jack Russell and it just loves drinking tea. This means you can not put your cup down and leave it on a coffee table or ground level as he will sneak up and drink it within minutes.

Over christmas we found out he was particial to beer as well!!!

Does anyone out there have the same problem?

My current dog now was the exact opposite since he does no want to drink anything except pure water.
But I used to have a dog that would like to drink almost anything that can be drinkable although she never tried to drink on our cup since she knew she have her own drinking cup. ;)

Your dog likes to drink beer as well? That was pretty weird for a dog but my Chao loves to drink coffee or tea also. Maybe it is because of the caffeine which can be so addicting even for us human.

My mom has dog that loves tea, coffee, milk and soda! Just about anything out of a glass she will drink it! It is cute and funny, I love to watch her lick it right up!

That sounds very like a Spitz mix that I had before. She would watch me eating whenever I did. Then when I was finished, she would check out the left-overs. Most of the time, she liked whatever I ate. Or drank.

Hmmm… I never tried giving my dog drinks other than water and milk. But they would sure taste any spill on the floor. Maybe other times I would try giving them tea, rootbeer or hot chocolate (what I usually drink) and see if they will like it.

Max loves ribena. I use blackcurrant ribena to trick my 2 year old into thinking its coke. It works a charm but the moment she puts it down max is at it again. Drinking like no tomorrow

Homer loves tea too. My mom often cleans his eyes with a cotton ball soaked in black tea. He always licks it like crazy;)
On a daily basis, we only give him tap water.

Hahahahaha!!!! My frida doesn't like tea! But my mom used to have a dog who liked beer! If he had the chance he'd drink some of it. As far as I know Frida likes to drink coffee if she gets the chance. My silly girl <3 !!!!!!

    Homer likes coffee too:p
As for alcohol, he absolutely hates it, he doesn't even want to smell it. However, when he was a puppy, he took a sip of my aunt's champagne before she could stop him:eek:

Ewww, champagne!!!!! If that was his first experience ever with alcohol... then I can't blame him for feeling that way towards alcohol! To be honest I dislike the taste of champagne, I don't find it that wonderful... I don't know why a lot people do... I've tried different brands over the years (New year's eve).

I've never been a big fan of champagne either!:) White wine is so much tastier! I guess I'm lucky Homer has never managed to take a sip of it. Champagne made him hate alcohol:p
