I have a lovely 13 year old Bichon named Kasper who has a skin problem. I have read it is common in the breed, but am looking for some further assistance. Normally I find them on his back near his tail bone, and this is an area he likes to rub up on things and scratch. Recently I also found some of these bumps on the top of his head.

I have read that this is often a diet related issue, but have tried changing to better food and still do not see any improvement. Does anyone have any suggestions for this problem?

Have you had him to the vet, by chance?

While it might be common for that breed, it doesn't necessarily mean that the reason is always the same. Your vet might be able to pinpoint what's going on or even offer up some solutions.
