Teddy is between 8 to 10 years old. We adopted him after fostering for several months through Sophia's Grace Foundation. He was picked up by the police. Apparently he was on the street for a very long time. He was blind and we were chosen to foster since we live one mile from the Animal Eye Specialist.. Eventually he had corneal implants and can now see. My question is, he is not housetrained (we need to catch him before he does anything) and take him ouitside every 3 or 4 hours. He goes all night without wetting, as long as 9 hours. He sleeps in our bed. When we go out I put a pad on him. Most of the time it's dry when we get home, but if we go over 4 hours it's wet and there is also poop waiting for us (always in the same spot). Is it possible that he's too set in his ways at this point and there's no hope of correcting this? He's soft and cuddly, but cuddles for about 5 minutes, and then he's off to lay by himself. We also have an 8 year old Jack Russell, very obedient, smart, and a good dog. They don't pay much attention to each other. Help....?

Teddy the Shizhapoo sounds like an adorable and unique furry friend! Shizhapoos are a crossbreed between a Shih Tzu and a Poodle, resulting in a cute and intelligent companion. If you have any specific questions or if you'd like to share more about Teddy or any pet-related topic, feel free to do so. Teddy's certainly a charming addition to your life!
