LOL I guess that is a female dog. And she just had a makeover in a parlor. :p
    Looks so cute!

Are you sure that is not a toy dog? I mean toy as in stuffed. It does look cute. I wonder what chemicals the hair stylist used to make that hairdo. I used to work in a hair saloon and the chemicals used to perm hair smells horrible.

    Yep, it's definitely real.

And I don't know about chemicals for the perming/styling. I do know it's pretty common, though. Part of it is also a matter of a dog that is already rather hairy/fluffy, blow drying it, and then shaving/cutting the rest of the hair thin so it really accentuates that difference.

Goodness, that fluffed up Poodle reminds me of candy floss. With two black raisins for eyes. Any idea why the Poodle looks so angry?

Wouldn't you be angry, too, if you were a dog who had just been bathed, blow dried, partially shaved, styled to look ridiculous, and then forced to pose for a picture? I know I wouldn't be too thrilled.

You and I wouldn't be thrilled but I can say, off-hand, there are any number of bimbos who would fight claw and tooth for a chance to be bathed, blow-dried, partially shaved, styled to look ridiculous all in the name of a photo shoot. Right?

    Good point.

In that case, maybe this is a model dog and he looks grumpy because he's trying to keep his figure slim and hasn't eaten much in days. ;) That'd make me grouchy, too.

    I got it!

He's looking annoyed because, as you can see in the background, another dog is getting exactly the same hairdo that he has got. I think you know how it feels. You suffer in silence to undergo treatment that's supposed to make you look unique. Then, hey, someone's else has the same hair style.

Lmao, that must be it! He's just so disappointed that he can't unique and has a copy cat (copy dog?).

Next, he'll be asking for some pink, too:

Here's another dog that's gotten a dye job:

Green mohawk! Although fortunately this one is a lot more subtle than some of the others we've seen in this thread....

Woah, some owners are certainly ... er creative.;) The first poofy one that was posted was cute though, as was the last one with the subtle rainbow mohawk. The big hair of the first dog reminds me of Boo a famous dog that is well known for looking cute. He's a Pomeranian but his coat has been styled and shaved so that he resembles a teddy bear. Google him if you want to see for yourself, I'll admit he's adorable however sometimes I wonder if his owner should just let him look like a natural Pomeranian.

Yes, that one is very well-done. Unlike this one:

I would call this really overdoing it.

Uh, yeah, just a little bit. The dog even looks embarrassed, heh. Technically they did a really good job turning it into a snail with full outdoors scenery around....but I don't understand why they'd put the dog through this. Was it for a costume contest?

Not too sure about that one but this one is definitely for a contest.

Haha. That one's kinda cute. At least he doesn't have a bunch of stuff sticking all over it like the snail dog does.

How do you think they got this one to look like this?
