Oh my, you have my eyes all tear up! What a heart touching story and I am so very glad to read that the last few days of his life were the happy ones! God bless him and those who showed him love!

This is a very sad story. Did they really have to euthanize him? Poor little thing. I hate when dogs die. It's just heartbreaking.

@claudine I think so, the vets said so and I don't think they'd have said that if they didn't consider it to be truly necessary, because odds are the poor little dog was probably in pain :( It's so sad he got to enjoy life for a very short time, just when he thought he had found a new family...

It's terribly sad. Life can be unbelievably awful and cruel. This poor dog never did anything bad in his whole life and yet he suffered so much. I feel very sorry for him:(
