Bad Dog, A Giant Sculpture of a Dog Peeing on the Orange County Museum of Art

LOL I wonder what is the significance of a peeing dog for the museum.
It was a unique idea for a museum, artistic!

 

I don't know. I know it's part of the exhibit inside and the artist is known for his playful style.

Some people are complaining that he should've, uh, neutered the dog first.

 

I'm not sure if I like it... but for sure it made me laugh really hard . I think modern art is just something not for me

 

That must be one of the strangest modern art pieces I've seen on the outside of a gallery.
I've seen many inside pieces that would make the hardiest art lover blush.

 

What do you think about this small statue? I love dogs but statues like this are just...well, not very pretty :

Lol at the first one. I think it's kinda cute and gives you something different to see while you're walking down the street.

I don't like the second one at all, though, just because it's rather boring and pointless.

 

The second one is also really ugly
I wonder what my Homer would do if he saw the statue from the first picture I posted. Would he think it's a strange dog? Today he barked like crazy at a snowman in the park

 

Haha I'm surprised they actually built this. Most uptight people would consider this offensive in some way. Great sculpture.

 

Yep. And they're getting some crap for it, too, because people find it inappropriate. It's not like it's a nude body, though, and the parts aren't all that detailed from a distance. People need to get over it.

 

I'm not sure why they would be offended, it's not like dogs walk around with their privates covered up.
